A tree that is considered as sacred and whose leaves are offered in prayers is bael tree. It is known as Iyalbudi in Tamil and Adharutha in Sanskrit. This bael tree belongs to the Rutaceae family. Not many of us know the fact that the bael fruit or bael or wood apple is rich in many nutrients like minerals, vitamins and antioxidants etc.

In children, pancreas would get inflamed and this condition is termed as paediatric pancreatitis. It is worthy to mention here that this condition affects the adults mostly and it could affect the children too less frequently. In the children, this condition occurs due to several reasons like injury to the abdomen, presence of gallstones, certain medicines and infections etc. Metabolic disorders like hypercalcemia etc can also lead to paediatric pancreatitis in the children. Sometimes, genetic mutations can also play a role in the development of this condition in children.
Symptoms associated with paediatric pancreatitis are
Pain in abdomen:
Children with this condition would have pain in their abdomen and would find it very difficult. Point to be noted is that the persistent severe pain would radiate to the back.
Nausea and vomiting:

Nutrition based:
First, the child with pancreatitis would have to fast temporarily. Then, the child would be given a clear liquid diet followed by a solid diet.

It must be noted that if pancreatitis is secondary to gallstones or other underlying condition etc surgery or medication might be considered.

How will you feel when you come to know that foods you eat would make you lose water causing dehydration? Shocking?
When there is more loss of fluids from our body compared to the intake of fluids then dehydration would take place. In such a scenario, there would be less amount of water present in us to carry out normal functions. Especially during the summer season, certain foods we eat could cause us to lose water from our body. Bitter truth is that eating these foods could result in dehydration. To prevent or avoid dehydration, we must eat fruits, vegetables, herbal teas etc compulsorily.

Intake of salty snacks:
It is true that eating salt based snacks in the summers could result in fluid loss from the body. Point is that high salt content would increase the body`s need to flush out excess sodium. It would be super to eat fresh fruits like watermelon having high water content and low in sodium.
