Chennai Metro City North Zone Transport Officer Jayakumar has informed us that the installation of surveillance monitoring cameras and sensors WILL BE MANDATORY FOR ALL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS!
A detailed inspection of the buses belonging to educational institutions was conducted on Tuesday (Yesterday, 15th November) presided over by Jayakumar.
To facilitate the full range of the back, a camera should be installed in the back of the vehicle. Sensors MUST be fitted in the vehicle to give a warning to the driver.
Jayakumar informed that the above regulation MUST BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO AND IN CASE OF ANY VIOLATION, IMMEDIATE LEGAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN ON THE OFFENDING VEHICLE OWNERS!
