It has been announced that while releasing the random number for admission to the graduate engineering courses, the marks obtained in the 10th standard will not be considered.

The online application for admission to the graduate engineering courses commenced on May 5th and concluded on June 4th.

Random numbers will be distributed to the candidates who applied online for admission to the graduate engineering courses. Subsequently, the merit list will be released, followed by counseling for admission.

In case more than one candidate has the same `cut-off` marks, priority will be given based on the dates of birth of the concerned candidates.

In this situation, while releasing the merit list of candidates for admissions for the academic year 2023-24, the marks obtained in the 10th standard were removed from consideration. This modification has been implemented in the rules for admission to graduate engineering courses and has been announced by the Directorate of Higher Education.

During the academic year 2021-22, due to the raging coronavirus pandemic, the marks for the 10th standard were given based on other factors without conducting the public examinations. Therefore, it has been announced by the Directorate of Higher Education that for the academic year 2023-24, the marks obtained in the 10th standard will not be considered.
