The festival of joy or deepavali is fast approaching and many people would be longing to be with their families on this important festival. For this festival on 24th of October, many special buses belonging to various transport corporations would be running across the state of Tamil Nadu.
Those persons who want to do booking for their seats can use the government transport corporation website www.tnstc.in or tnstc. There are many booking centres at the bus stands and the public could go to these centres to book their tickets in advance. This was according to some officers from the transport department.
It would be possible to book bus tickets 30 days in advance for the express buses and for that reason advance bookings have started for the 20th October now. This was as per the transport dept officers. They have added that those who have decided to go to their native places 3 days before deepavali, that is 21st October, could book their tickets from 21st September 2022 inwards.
It was mentioned by Mr. K. Illangovan, government express transport that for the festival of Dussehra additional buses would be operated to places like Kulasekarapattinam and Thiruchendur. He added that from 1st to 4th October there would be additional buses to places like Thiruchendur and Kulasekarapattinam from Chennai
