Starting today (Monday, 8th March), students can apply for admission to graduate courses in Arts and Sciences. There are 164 Government Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu functioning under the Directorate of College Education. Interested candidates may apply online to these colleges to pursue graduate courses in Arts and Science. Candidates who are unable to apply online can contact the College Help Centres to apply.
The Students` Merit List will be sent to the colleges before 23rd May. Subsequently, counselling will be conducted first for the differently-abled cadre and applicants from other special cadres, and then for the general cadre.
It has been announced that counselling for special cadre candidates will take place from 25th to 29th May, and the first phase of counselling for the general cadre will take place from 30th May to 9th June. The second phase of counselling for the general cadre is scheduled from 12th June until 20th June.
It is further informed that classes for 1st-year students will commence on 22nd June.
