New System for Marriage Registration introduced in Tamil Nadu State!

New System for Marriage Registration introduced in Tamil Nadu State!

The Department of Registration has rebased a new regulation that even if one of the bridal couples coming for registration is NOT AN INDIAN, the department of registration MUST STILL RECEIVE THE APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF MARRIAGE!

In the Registration Office, the marriage couple appearing for registration may marry according to the respective religious procedure and submit all the necessary documents for proof.

A special new Marriage Act has been passed to register marriages for those who marry from different religions or castes,

As per this, if the couple belongs to different religions or castes, will not be an issue and the marriage will be registered.

Presently, in case of one of the couples being a foreigner and the other being an Indian, the register offices do not allow registration of the marriage!

As such, henceforth, as per the New Marriage Registration Act, it has been ordered that THE MARRIAGE CAN BE REGISTERED EVEN IF ONE OF THE COUPLE BEING AN INDIAN AND THE OTHER BEING A FOREIGNER!

APPLICATIONS SHOULD NOT BE REJECTED WITHOUT VALID REASONS!

IN CASE ANY COMPLAINT IS RECEIVED REGARDING SUCH INSTANCES, IMMEDIATE STRINGENT LEGAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN AGAINST THE CONCERNED PERSONS!
