The Department of School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has released the timetable for the Quarterly Examinations for students studying from 6th Standard to 12th Standard (+2).
According to the Tamil Nadu State Government Syllabus, complete details regarding school working days, examinations, and holidays have been provided through an academic year calendar since 2018.
On April 28th, the Department of School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu released the calendar for the academic year 2023-24. It mentions that the quarterly examinations are scheduled to commence in the 3rd week of September. Accordingly, the detailed timetable for the quarterly examinations has now been released. The details are as follows:
The quarterly examinations for +1 & +2 students are scheduled from September 15th to September 27th. For +1 students, the examinations will be held from 9.30 A.M. to 12.45 PM, while for +2 students, they will take place from 1.15 PM to 4.30 PM.
For students in 6th Standard to 10th Standard, the quarterly examinations are set to begin on September 19th and conclude on September 27th. The examination timing for 6th, 7th & 8th Standard will be from 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM. For 9th & 10th Standard students, the timing will be from 2.00 PM to 4.30 PM.
The Physical Education Examination for 6th Standard to 9th Standard students will be conducted on September 22nd.
Following this, the quarterly vacation will be observed from September 28th to October 2nd.
Moreover, the timetable for the `Ennum Ezhuthum` assessment test will be released shortly.
