Aavin introduced the sales of nitrified cow milk on Tuesday, May 9th. In a notification released by the Aavin Administration, it was mentioned that Aavin has been selling around 30 lakh litres of milk every day. Vitamin `E` plays an important role in providing the calcium required by the human body, and nitrifying the milk with Vitamin `E` will be extremely beneficial for health, as recommended by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India.
During the Legislative Assembly Presentations regarding the Subsidies for Departments, it was announced that the milk is to be nitrified with Vitamin `A` and Vitamin `E`. As a step towards implementing this recommendation and considering the welfare of the consumers, cow milk nitrified with Vitamin `A` and Vitamin `E` will be introduced for sale, as announced on the official website of the Tamil Nadu Dairy Manufacturers` Cooperatives.
