“Based on the number of students in the Government Schools in Tamil Nadu as per the last academic year, the number of additional post-graduate teachers were entrusted to the School Education Public Council,
Meanwhile, as per the strength of the +1 & +2 students, suggestions/recommendations were obtained from the District Primary Education Officer regarding the additional vacancies for post-graduate teachers.
Subsequently, a decision to post the 254 vacancies for post-graduate teachers was entrusted to the Public Council as per the requirement of the schools.
As per this, for the current academic year, an order is being released for filling up the vacancies for 254 post-graduate teachers in the faculties of Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Commerce, and Economics.”
