Devotees who visit the famous Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirupathi have to wait in a queue for a rather long period of 30 hours to have Darshan of their favorite Lord Venkateswara. Tens of thousands of devotees have Darshan of Lord Venkateswara daily at the Tirupathi temple. Usually, the number of devotees visiting during the weekends, on Saturdays and Sundays, is higher than the normal weekdays, from Mondays to Fridays. Therefore, devotees need to wait for long hours for Darshan, especially during the weekends. Last Saturday (1st April), 75,510 devotees had Darshan of their favorite Lord Sri Venkateswara. Out of these devotees, 36,272 had shorn their head hair. The money deposited in the Hundi was counted on the same day and amounted to Rs. 3.69 Crores.

As of yesterday`s status (Sunday, 2nd April), the 21 halls of the waiting Sri Vaikuntam Complex were full of waiting devotees. The devotees wait for up to 30 hours to have the Darshan of Lord Venkateswara. The devotees who have the Rs. 300/- Darshan ticket waited for 4 hours for Darshan.
