The available 6980 seats for admission to graduate courses conducted by the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University are to be filled up for the current academic year!
Out of these 6980 seats, 2567 seats are available in 18 Member Colleges and 4413 seats are available in the Associate Colleges.
For the above seats, applications were received from 28th June until 20th August!
A total of 39489 applications were received. Subsequently, counselling for the applicants was conducted for admission. Out of the available seats, 1105 seats are still to be filled!
As such, action has been taken on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University to conduct ‘Spot Admissions’ for the students on 24th January!
The candidates who missed attending the initial counselling and missed the same, the candidates who failed to participate in the document/certificate verification session and the candidates who have been called for this special counselling can all attend In this ‘Spot Admission’ counselling!
The Fees for the Counselling Session will be collected only from the applicants who got admission in the Spot Admission;
The counselling fee is Rs. 3000/- for the General or Common Cadre applicants, and Rs. 1500/- for candidates in the cadre of SC/ST.
NOTE THAT THERE IS NO TATKAL FACILITY IN THIS ADMISSION PROCEDURE!
The course fee will be Rs. 40000/- to Rs. 50000/- per year in the Associate Colleges.
Candidates can select the college for the course as per the Merit List!
If there are still vacant seats available after the above ‘Spot Admission’ process, another session of ‘Spot Admission’ will be conducted after a week.
The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has announced that the details such as the quota of seats for the students, the details of students called for interview/counselling, the table for the vacant seats, etc., will be released on the official website: www.tnau.ucanapply.com
