The electricity minister of TN, Mr. Senthil Balajii informed that the deadline for linking Aadhaar number with electricity connection was extended to 28th february 2023.
At Erode yesterday, the minister mentioned that so far 2.60 cr of people have linked their aadhaar number and electricity connections and another 7 lakhs have not linked these two.
To give them another chance to link their Aadhar number and electricity connections, the deadline has been extended till 28th of February. He made it clear that after 13 days there would not be another extension time provided for the consumers to link their Aadhar number with electricity connections.
