Due to the scorching summer heat, the reopening of schools in Tamil Nadu has been rescheduled to June 12. The decision was taken by the state education department to ensure the safety and well-being of students amidst the prevailing weather conditions.

Initially, schools were scheduled to reopen in the first week of June , but considering the rising temperatures and the discomfort it may cause to students, the authorities decided to postpone the reopening by a few days.

The extended break provides an opportunity for students to stay indoors, stay hydrated, and take necessary precautions to beat the heat. It is essential for parents and guardians to ensure that children are protected from the harsh weather conditions and avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight.
