The Vellore City Corporation has announced that an offer of Rs. 200/- will be made to those who give video clips of citizens dumping garbage in public places!
Further, Vellore City Corporation has announced that there will be a penalty of Rs. 500/-. Again, there will be a penalty of Rs. 100/- for the residents who do not segregate the garbage and give! The trading organisations for failing to segregate the trash will be given a penalty of Rs. 500/- and for commercial complexes, the penalty will be Rs. 1000/-!
Further, a penalty of Rs. 200/- will be imposed if garbage is dumped on vacant plots! A fine of Rs. 200/- will be charged for allowing garbage to accumulate in front of the residences!
