Vellore Airport, located near Abdullapuram in Tamil Nadu, is a small regional airport primarily intended to improve air connectivity in the region. Though construction began several years ago, delays have pushed back its full operational status. Once functional, it is expected to support UDAN flights and boost local economic development.
